The story of this Moldovan writer was translated into Galician in 2022. The Rinoceronte editorial commissioned me to create a symbolic cover.
The narrative is darker than it may seem at first sight. It is full of symbolic images: the field of sunflowers, the snails, the popcorn, the beer... they tell you about the mother, the son, the rage, the stinging pain... And about letting in the summer light when everything goes wrong.
To come up with this design, I needed many previous sketches...
